Anesthesia Duo Tone
Daughters of the WaterCruise Version
Experimental short video.Soundscape. Endless Pantone sound.Watercolors: Under_the_future.
Ecofeminism reminds us that domination is not only exercised over bodies, but over landscapes, over matter, over what is considered passive, silent, available.
Cruising emerges from secrecy. From kruisen, a code once whispered to survive surveillance and violence. A choreography of desire that unfolded in parks, forests, margins. A cartography drawn in shadows.
The invisible intervention, the perceptible creation. It is not what is seen but what is generated in the act of perceiving.
What if any place could become a space to touch, to love, to undress without conquest? What if desire did not extract, but circulate?
If cruising were a sound. If cruising were a color. If cruising were a matter.
It would be water.
Water without additives claims neutrality. Colorless. Odorless. Tasteless. And yet oceans burn blue, rivers turn green, depths glow yellow at dusk.
Water resists categorization. It refuses hierarchy. It does not dominate the landscape. It reshapes it by persistence.
Ecofeminism calls this the undoing of the logic of domination.
Cruising, too, is fluid. It unsettles fixed identities. It blurs public and private. It dissolves binaries that architecture tries to enforce.
Yellow water.Blue matter.Duo-tone frequencies.
Micro-organisms.Liquid light and sound.
Cruise ships produce noise.Bodies produce resonance.Sound has color.
If you notice, it is all cruising.
Not as consumption. Not as conquest. But as fleeting encounter.
An emotional cruising offers a rare intermission. A journey where destination dissolves into movement. Where space becomes relational, not owned.
Water touches everything and belongs to nothing.
And perhaps that is the quiet political gesture:to inhabit the world without extracting it.
